Fat Dissolving Injections

Let’s start at the beginning; if you haven’t heard of it already, intralipotherapy is a popular and relatively new treatment that’s used to target those pesky pockets of fat that gather on your stomach, thighs, upper arms, buttocks and back – and even your face.

About FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS

The injection ‘dissolves’ and eliminates fat cells in a safe and effective way, making it perfect for dealing with stubborn fat that simply won’t budge, no matter how much you exercise. The main ingredient is a fat dissolving substance called sodium deoxycholate, which is found naturally in the body.

Sodium deoxycholate is the enzyme that breaks down the fats from our food in our stomach. This is injected into the treatment area using a needle which, over time, destroys the fat cells in this area. These are then removed from the body by its very own lymphatic system – a network of tissues and organs that rid the body of unwanted toxins and waste. And just like that, the fat is gone!

* Please note this is not a magic pill, it will not make us all 8 Stone! This treatment is absolutely marvellous at removing stubborn pockets of fat, mummy pouches, double chins, flanks, muffin tops … BUT IT WILL NOT TAKE YOU FROM A SIZE 20 to a 10.

How it Works

Fat dissolving injections are non-surgical treatments designed to break down and eliminate small pockets of stubborn fat. They use a compound called sodium deoxycholate, a bile salt that destroys fat cell membranes, allowing fat to be naturally flushed from the body.

Sodium deoxycholate is a naturally occurring bile acid used in medical fat reduction treatments. It breaks down fat cells so they can be eliminated by the lymphatic system over time.

The solution is injected into the fat layer, where it disrupts fat cell walls. The fat is then broken down and removed by the body’s natural metabolic processes over several weeks.
