Lip Tattoo / Blush

Lip blush tattoo at Jennifer Snaith Aesthetics — semi-permanent colour that enhances your natural lip shape and tone for a soft, healthy, just-bitten finish.

Lip Blush

Lip blush is a semi-permanent make-up treatment that gently enhances the natural colour, shape and definition of your lips, giving a soft, healthy, “your lips but better” finish. It’s perfect if your lip colour has faded, you’d like a little more definition, or you simply want to wake up with a natural wash of colour every day.

I tailor the shade and shape to complement your features, so the result is subtle and flattering — never a harsh lipstick line.

How it Works

It’s a semi-permanent tint that adds a soft wash of colour and definition to the lips — not a bold outline, but a natural enhancement of your own lip tone and shape.

After we choose your shade and shape together, I apply the colour gently using a numbing cream to keep you comfortable. The colour looks vivid at first and softens beautifully as it heals.

Yes — a top-up around 6–8 weeks after the first session perfects the colour and evenness once your lips have healed.

Am I right for
Lip Blush

  • Have faded or uneven natural lip colour
  • Want soft definition rather than a bold outline
  • Are happy to return for a top-up at 6–8 weeks
  • Will tell me in advance if you get cold sores
  • Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Can keep lips balmed and protected while healing
Lip blush suits most people wanting to enhance faded or uneven lip colour. If you’re prone to cold sores, please tell me beforehand — the treatment can trigger an outbreak, so we’ll discuss preventative steps first. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, or have certain medical conditions, let me know when you book. I’ll review your medical history and carry out a patch test where needed.

Usually 2–3 years, fading gradually and softly. A colour boost refreshes it whenever you’d like.

I use a numbing cream throughout, so most clients find it very comfortable. Lips can feel a little tender afterwards.

Day 1–3: colour looks bold and lips may feel dry.
Day 3–5: light flaking.
Weeks 2–3: colour softens to its true, natural shade.

Your top-up then perfects it.

Keep them hydrated with the balm supplied at all times, avoid spicy or salty food while they settle, and don’t pick at any flaking.

Yes, but please tell me beforehand. The treatment can trigger a flare-up, so I’ll advise on preventative medication to take before your appointment.

No — it looks vivid for the first few days, then softens to a natural, healthy tint. We choose a shade designed to heal soft and flattering.
