Combination Brows

Combination brows at Jennifer Snaith Aesthetics — microblading and shading combined for natural, defined, semi-permanent brows tailored to your face and skin type.

Combination Brows

Combination brows blend two semi-permanent techniques — crisp, hair-like microblading strokes with a soft powder shading — to give you brows that look naturally full at the front and beautifully defined through the body and tail. It’s the ideal choice if you want the realism of microblading with a little more depth and staying power.

I design every brow around your natural shape, colouring and features, so the result is flattering and unmistakably you.

How it Works

It combines hair-stroke microblading with powder shading in one treatment, giving natural definition at the front and a soft, filled finish through the rest of the brow.

After we design and agree your brow shape and colour together, I create fine hair strokes and add gentle shading, using a numbing cream to keep you comfortable throughout.

Yes — a top-up around 6–8 weeks after your first appointment perfects the result once the initial healing is complete. This is an essential part of the process.

Am I right for
Combination Brows

  • Want fuller, more defined brows
  • Find microblading alone doesn’t hold well on your skin
  • Are happy to return for a top-up at 6–8 weeks
  • Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have no active skin condition in the brow area
  • Can keep the area completely dry for 14 days
Combination brows suit most skin types and are especially lovely if microblading alone doesn’t hold well on your skin, or if you’d like a fuller, more defined finish. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain skin conditions, or are prone to keloid scarring, please let me know when you book. I’ll always review your medical history and carry out a patch test where needed before we begin.

Quick answers to questions you may have

Typically 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. A colour boost keeps them looking their best.

I use a numbing cream throughout, so most clients find it very comfortable — more of an odd, scratchy sensation than pain.

Day 1–7: brows look bolder and darker.
Day 7–14: light flaking as they settle.
Weeks 3–4: colour softens to its true shade.

Your top-up then perfects everything.

Keep your brows completely dry for 14 days, avoid make-up on the area, and don’t pick or scratch any flaking — let it come away on its own.

Skin heals differently on everyone. The top-up refines the shape, fills any gaps and locks in the colour — without it, the result won’t be complete.

Absolutely. We design and agree everything together before any work begins, tailored to your features and colouring.
