Vitamin Injections

Vitamin injections, including Vitamin C, Biotin (B7) and B12, are given directly into the muscle rather than taken as a tablet. Every treatment starts with a consultation, so we can talk through your health history and whether a vitamin injection is right for you before anything is booked in.

About our vitamin injections

We offer three vitamin injections — Vitamin C, Biotin (B7) and B12 — as well as Vitamin C and B12 combined in one injection. Each can be booked as a single appointment, and some as a short course.

Your consultation covers your medical history, any medication you take, and which option, if any, suits you. If an injection isn’t the right choice for you, we’ll tell you.

How it Works

We start with a short consultation and a health questionnaire, then give the injection, usually into the upper arm. The whole appointment takes around 15 minutes.

One of three vitamins, depending on the treatment you choose: Vitamin C, Biotin (vitamin B7) or B12 — or Vitamin C and B12 combined. We’ll explain exactly what’s being used before your first treatment.

At both our clinics — Bijoux Beauty in Sunderland and Bella Vida in Barnard Castle.

WHO MIGHT CONSIDER
Vitamin Injections?

A consultation is the place to decide, but people often ask about them if they:

  • would rather not take a daily supplement tablet
  • find tablets don’t suit them
  • have had vitamin injections elsewhere and want to continue closer to home
  • would like to talk their options through face to face

Quick answers to questions you may have

Most people have none. Some notice mild soreness where the injection was given. We’ll go through anything relevant to you at your consultation.

Not always. If you’ve had a recent result from your GP, bring it along — it helps us plan your treatment.

Please tell us at your consultation. We’ll advise whether treatment is suitable, and may suggest speaking to your GP or midwife first.

It depends on the treatment and on you — some people have a short course, others a top-up every few weeks or months. We’ll agree a plan at your consultation.

This is one reason we always start with a consultation — we’ll only recommend what’s appropriate for you.
